WMFR Foundation

The West Metro Fire Rescue Foundation is a non profit 509(a)1 dedicated to supporting fire and lifesafety education programs in our community.

Recipes Worth Rescuing Cookbook
The WMFR Foundation depends on donations from citizens like you to continue saving lives and preventing injuries through our programs. Your purchase of a WMFR Foundation "Recipes Worth Rescuing" fire fighter cookbook provides funding for fire and life safety efforts in your community and makes a great gift for birthdays and the holidays! The cost for the cookbook is $10 or three for $25 plus tax.

Buy a bear...and save a life
"Brownie Bear," named in honor of West Metro Fire Rescue's retired fire chief Robert H. Brown, is dressed in fire fighting gear and stands approximately 10 inches high. Brownie Bear sells for $10.00 plus tax, and all proceeds benefit the WMFR Foundation. A portion of your purchase is tax deductible to the extend allowed by law.

The West Metro Fire Rescue Foundation can use your help:

  • volunteer for Foundation committees
  • contribute to the Foundation
  • suggest community projects that qualify as part of the mission statement

For more information on purchasing a cookbook or Brownie Bear, call 303-989-4307 ext. 578. Contributions are tax deductible.
