Volunteers & Donors

West Metro Fire Rescue is able to offer many of its community education programs because of support received from volunteers, grants and donations.

Volunteer Program:

West Metro Fire Rescue’s “Friday Afternoon Club” and event volunteers help prepare  materials for community education programs, events and our low-cost safety items. Volunteers meet monthly and also help staff community events.

Currently, all our volunteer positions are filled.

Service Hours:

We encourage High School and College Students to volunteer at our annual Family Fire Muster in September.

Note:  Our 2016 Muster Volunteer positions have been filled.  Thank you.

Please note:
  • WMFR does not offer volunteer positions for operational roles or for firefighter career preparation.
  • We do not have any volunteer positions for court ordered community service.
