Schedule a Construction Inspection
We are now performing NEXT DAY CONSTRUCTION INSPECTIONS. Inspection requests received by 12:00 PM (noon), on weekdays, will receive the requested inspection the following business day.
Please note our normal inspection hours are from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Holidays Excluded, with some EXCEPTIONS*.
(*EXCEPTIONS: In some cases, most likely caused by the size and/or complexity of the requested inspection, the requesting individual will be contacted, in the manner as stated below, and a strategy for completing the inspection will be developed. Please note it is our intent to allow time to develop an inspection strategy in advance for these types of projects.)
The "contact person" listed on the request will be contacted by the inspector no later then the morning of (using the phone number and/or email supplied on the request form) and given a time window for the inspection. If our call attempt is not answered then the voicemail we leave and the email we send will be considered confirmation by the contractor that they will be there at the scheduled time.
**NO SHOWS ARE SUBJECT TO A RE-INSPECTION FEE.**
Please do not call our office to find out, or to request a time frame for you inspection. The inspector assigned will contact the person listed on the request form.
For our retiring "old" inspection process - Complete the Inspection Request Form. All requests must be received by 12:00 PM (noon), on weekdays, the day before for next day inspections. Permit numbers for these permits begin with 1 thru 13730.
For permits processed through Mobile Eyes software (as of 07/03/17) - Permit numbers will be a 9-digit number. Requests for inspections need to be requested from your Contractor Portal .
STATE SAFETY INSPECTION
To schedule a State Safety Inspection for licensing, complete this State Safety Inspection Form. Safety Inspections are required to obtain or renew state licensing. A fee of $50 must be paid prior to scheduling the inspection. *PLEASE NOTE NEXT DAY INSPECTIONS DO NOT APPLY TO STATE SAFETY INSPECTIONS.
